Online OT for Neurodivergent Adults and Teens: Mental Health, ADHD, Autism, Tourette’s, Complex Trauma

Here, occupational therapy is a space to slow down, move at your own pace, gain understanding, and reconnect with what gives everyday life meaning.
Hi! I’m Tommy. I’m an online occupational therapist based in Montreal, and I identify as Neurodivergent.
My approach is neuraffirming, strengths-based, and grounded in everyday life. I focus on supporting participation in what matters to you, whether that’s mental health, sensory and emotional regulation, or self-understanding. We move at a collaborative and supportive pace, and I sometimes draw on creative or geek-inspired approaches when it feels right.

My Approach

For me, meaningful change begins with feeling safe and understood in one’s own world.

What Is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy meets you through what you do because what you do shapes who you are and who you are shapes what you do in everyday life.

Who My Services Are For

My services are primarily for Neurodivergent adolescents and adults, diagnosed or not, including, people with Complex Trauma, ADHD, autistic, or combined profiles often referred to as AuDHD, who often feel out of sync with their daily routines.
I support reflective and empathetic people who experience anxiety, depression, or dissociative moments, as well as self imposed perfectionism, an internal pressure to “do things right,” or a sense of never quite meeting expectations, whether those expectations come from within or from others. All intersecting factors are woven into our collaborative process, within a shame free space where your pace and self compassion come first.
I also work with people from culturally minoritized communities or those experiencing cultural dissonance, particularly when dominant norms come into conflict with their identity, history, or ways of being and doing. These realities may intersect and influence one another, and they are taken into account throughout the therapeutic process.
Common Situations
You might recognize yourself if:
- You are going through a period of transition, such as entering adulthood, changing jobs or navigating identity-related questions, and some activities have lost their meaning or become less accessible.
- You may want to do a task, but starting it or seeing it through may require extra support or strategies.
- Planning, starting, or completing tasks feels disproportionately hard, even for things that matter to you: what’s sometimes called executive functioning challenges.
- You often feel overwhelmed by your thoughts, emotions, or environment, which can lead to avoidance, withdrawal, or moments of feeling stuck.
- Your relationship with time feels fragile, with difficulty estimating, planning, or maintaining a sustainable pace.
- Noisy, unpredictable, or highly stimulating environments are exhausting and limit your participation.
How Sessions Work
Getting Started
The first sessions are primarily an opportunity to get to know one another and to understand how you function, your life context, and what matters to you. You do not need to arrive with clearly defined goals. We will take the time to clarify what matters to you together.
These sessions also make it possible to see whether the therapeutic framework and the relationship feel right for you. There is no obligation to continue if you feel that it is not the right time or not the right kind of support.
All services are offered entirely online, allowing for follow-ups across Québec, Ontario, and British Columbia, regardless of location.
Introductory Call (15 minutes)
Before beginning follow-up sessions, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This conversation provides an opportunity to ask questions, clarify your needs, and see whether my approach feels like a good fit, with no obligation.
What Comes Next

Together, we explore concrete strategies and practical adjustments, sometimes through play or by drawing on geek culture more broadly, including games such as Dungeons and Dragons. These tools support your participation in the activities that matter to you. Over time, this work aims to foster greater clarity, flexibility, and a sense of alignment in daily life.
In Practice
- They take place primarily online, via Whereby, a platform where your data is not stored.
- Sessions last 50 minutes.
- The fee is $120 per session. I also accept cases covered by IVAC.
- Communication between sessions is handled primarily by email for administrative matters.
